What information do you need to write a script?

A completed brief covering your ICP, the conversion objective of the video, the format and length, the primary buyer objection the script needs to address, and any brand voice or messaging guidelines. A template brief is provided when you engage with the service. The more specific the brief, the stronger the first draft.

Can you write scripts for existing footage that needs re-voicing?

Yes. Scripts for post-production voiceover — where the visual content already exists and a new narrative script is required — are a common use case. Provide the footage or an outline of the visual content and the brief for the new narrative approach, and VID scripting will deliver a voiceover-ready script aligned to the visual flow.

How will I receive, review and download my script?

Based on the delivery preference you select during your ordering process, your script copy will arrive within the deadline you set, typically 3-5 business days.

When your copy is finished, you'll receive an email from our team with a Google Document link where you can view the copy for your project. You can then leave comments for changes and download at any time.

What if I need edits or revisions?

If your script copy requires revisions, please submit your requests by tagging our team inside the Google Document with the desired change. We provide two rounds of revisions for free.

If the changes are minor such as a word change or punctuation, you can copy and paste the text and make those changes yourself.

Typical edit turnaround time varies from 1-5 business days depending on the complexity of the video script.

*If you need additional revisions you will be charged our hourly agency rate of $100 an hour. We provide 3 rounds of revisions MAX (including the initial complimentary revisions).

Do you offer refunds if I'm not happy with what's delivered?
