The Video Department

Create with VID

Great video takes a team that cares how it gets made.

VID works with videographers, editors, producers, and creative specialists to help companies show up with better video, more often. If you take the craft seriously and work well with people, we’d like to see your work.

A VID crew setting up a camera and key light for an interview.
A producer guiding a person through an on-camera interview.
An editor working through a timeline.

The work we make together

Join the people behind the video department.

VID helps B2B teams turn expertise into video their buyers can use. Some days that means helping a nervous founder feel comfortable on camera. Others mean capturing a customer story, filming a live event, shaping a long interview into a clear edit, or building a repeatable series.

The assignment changes. Our expectations stay steady: thoughtful preparation, good communication, respect for the person on camera, and work that serves the story.

A detail frame from a real VID project, such as hands adjusting a lens.
A real person on camera, mid-conversation.
A finished VID frame on an edit monitor.

A clear path from brief to delivery

  1. Show us your work.

Tell us what you do, where you work, and which projects reflect your strengths.

  2. Get to know the team.

When your skills match an active need, we’ll talk through the work, process, and expectations.

  3. Agree on the assignment.

Scope, schedule, deliverables, and payment terms are set before work begins.

  4. Create together.

VID coordinates the client relationship, creative direction, feedback, and handoff agreed for the project.

  5. Build a working relationship.

Strong collaborations can lead to more projects as client needs arise.

Applying does not guarantee assignments. Availability and terms depend on each project.

How we work

Good work starts before the camera rolls.

  • Make people comfortable.

Expertise comes out when contributors feel heard, prepared, and respected.

  • Know the purpose.

Understand the audience and intended use before deciding how to shoot or edit.

  • Keep the handoff clean.

Organized media, clear versions, and timely communication help every person downstream.

  • Take feedback seriously.

The aim is the strongest result for the client, not defending a first cut.

  • Protect the relationship.

Show up prepared, represent VID professionally, and treat client information with care.
