CREATE WITH VID · POST-PRODUCTION

Find the story. Make every frame earn its place.

VID works with editors who can turn real conversations, demonstrations, and moments into video people want to watch and understand. Good editing serves the speaker, the audience, and the job the video needs to do.

FORMATS

Edit for the moment where someone will watch.

  • Customer stories

Find the change in the customer’s own words and build a credible narrative around it.

  • Expert-led video

Shape interviews and presentations into clear, useful answers.

  • YouTube and podcasts

Build an episode with pace, structure, and room for the idea to land.

  • Short-form clips

Make a focused point quickly without stripping it of context.

  • Sales and product video

Help buyers understand the problem, the product, and the next decision.

  • Campaign and event assets

Make a production day useful across multiple approved formats and placements.

Taste matters. So does a clean timeline.

We look for judgment in story selection, pacing, sound, graphics, captions, and platform formatting. We also look for reliable versioning, clear project organization, careful handling of feedback, and honest communication about capacity.

You can tell us why a cut works. You can preserve a person’s real voice while making their point easier to follow. You know when an effect adds clarity and when it gets in the way.

WORKFLOW

How an edit moves

  1. Receive the brief and source media.

Know the audience, intended placement, deliverables, and approvals.

  2. Find the story.

Identify the strongest argument or emotional turn before decorating the edit.

  3. Build the cut.

Work within the agreed brand and technical standards.

  4. Review and refine.

Make feedback traceable and keep versions organized.

  5. Deliver and archive.

Hand off the agreed masters, versions, and project materials.

Turnaround, revision rounds, and project-file requirements are defined per assignment.

YOUR PORTFOLIO

Send finished work with the story behind your role.

Share 2–4 examples that reflect the projects you want more of. For each, tell us what footage you started with, what you edited, whether you handled sound, color, motion, or captions, and where the piece was published.

If you have a long-form piece and the short clips derived from it, show both. We care about the choices connecting them.
