BLiNK AI is an AI-powered customer communication platform built for automotive dealerships — connecting what the customer experiences on their phone with what the dealership team manages on their internal screens, in real time. The product sits inside one of the highest-friction moments in the automotive retail relationship: service communication. When it works, the customer feels taken care of, the service advisor has visibility, and the dealership captures revenue that would otherwise leak out of a disjointed process. When it doesn’t exist, the dealership runs on phone calls, manual follow-up, and the hope that a busy customer reads their texts before driving somewhere else.
The company sells to dealer principals and general managers — operators who’ve seen enough technology promises that credibility has to be earned before a demo is ever scheduled. That audience doesn’t read product one-pagers in their downtime. They watch a video, or they don’t engage at all. Which means BLiNK AI’s ability to grow — to open new dealer conversations, to move prospects through a sales cycle, to show up consistently across paid, organic, email, and outreach — depends on having a video department that runs.
VID operates as that department.
The engagement began with positioning work already done inside BLiNK AI. The brand story was clear. The differentiation was defined. The target audience was understood. What didn’t exist was a visual expression of any of it — no flagship asset the sales team could use before a call, no footage library the marketing team could pull from, no creative system that would make the next video faster than the last one. Every content need was starting from zero. Salespeople were rebuilding the explanation on every dealer conversation. Marketing and sales were operating from disconnected, inconsistent material.
VID’s first order of work was to build the foundation. That meant a complete strategy and messaging review, translating BLiNK AI’s positioning into a sales narrative designed for the attention span of a dealer principal. A master script. A full creative treatment covering the visual approach, the production method, and the plan for visualizing a two-screen product experience without exposing competitive dashboard detail. Nothing moved to production until BLiNK AI approved the story in writing.
Production took place in Utah — a focused session at a working dealership capturing the real environment: service drive activity, employees at computers, customer and employee interactions, phones in hand, the texture of a store that’s actually running. The footage was designed from the start to be reusable — not B-roll for this video alone, but an owned asset library that belongs to BLiNK AI permanently and reduces the cost and lead time of every video that follows.
Post-production layered product visualization on top of the live action: UI overlays, mobile message thread sequences, dashboard composites on live-action monitors, kinetic typography, animated outcome data. Every interface frame was reviewed and approved before it shipped — the product’s competitive details protected, the experience made legible. The motion components were built as a reusable system, not one-off graphics, so the visual language established here carries into future production without being rebuilt from scratch.
The deliverable package included a flagship brand story master, a condensed version, short-form vertical and square cutdowns for social and paid, captioned and clean exports, thumbnail artwork, web-ready and high-resolution files, the original footage archive organized and labeled for ongoing use, and documented visual direction that gives any future production — internal or external — a reference point that keeps everything consistent.
That infrastructure is what makes ongoing video production viable. The goal was never one polished video. It was a working video department: a system that produces three to five assets per month across sales enablement, dealer marketing, product education, and paid media — without starting over each time. BLiNK AI now has the footage, the motion system, the documented visual direction, and the production relationship to do exactly that.
